    3. I bought this book to read to my son. Spanish being my first language I really enjoy the Spanish rhymes and songs. What I didn't like was the translations, none of them made any sense. It was like they translated it to what they thought it should be and not what was written in Spanish.

    4. Not even half of the poems have corresponding songs on the cd. I don't speak Spanish very well so my specific goal in buying this was to have my daughter hear the poems in Spanish as a learning tool. We spent the whole time just trying to figure out which page we should be looking at for each song. There's also no tone of any kind but many of the poems have multiple pages - it was nearly impossible for me to know when to turn the page.

    5. I love this book! I speak Spanish with my daughter but am not a native speaker. For this reason, I don’t really know too many songs. With this, we read the book, listen to the songs and I know about 10 songs by heart. Like someone said, there are only 8 songs on the cd but the rest I look up or ask my husband’s family. If there is a melt down in the car, I turn on the CD (or the one from the book “el Loro Tico Tango”) and she is instantly calm. I don’t use it in English because i [...]

    6. I specifically bought this version of the book so that we could listen to the poems in Spanish on the CD. I was very disappointed to find that very few of the poems are on the CD. Otherwise I like the book. The CD is easy to listen to.

    7. I was very happy when I found this "Traditional Spanish Nursery Rhymes" book, since most of the songs were the ones I used to sing to my daughters when they were little. Now that I have a grandson I said to myself, he need to lern that, so I went ahead and purchaded the book and a CD, but for my surprise, there were only 5 songs in Spanish, and then the same ones in English, I was a little disappointed.I wish I can find a CD with all those songs in Spanish, since I want my grandson to learn that [...]
